Jesus Canuto Iglesias was born in Madrid in 1992. Educated in Spain, The United States, France, and The Netherlands. He recently graduated from Art science from the Interfaculty within the Royal Academy of Art of The Hague and the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. A trained photographer, he is an interdisciplinary artist focused on the creation of art that is rich in conceptual ideas and sensorial transmission. He makes use of traditional and technical creation methods as well as of self-developed technological elements in his artworks. He has a high level of interest in discussing the biases related to different disciplines for the individual and the collective, as well as the usage of the knowledge of different psychological factoids as conceptual and methodological backgrounds to his work. Not leaving only the role of sensorial, interactive, or conceptual elements; his practice consists of installations that always ask a question about the experience lived.
